Still life with flowers

In the sketch I can see patterns that consists of shapes that include shading for each time the artist paints. I see that he uses about three different colors that include at least black and the color white. For this sketch it is hard for me to identify what is going on and how to see flowers. I do see that there are many petals and leafs. This painting relates to other flowers because it has its own sense of dynamics such as with the colors that go from dark to light. With this painting that goes from dark to light and or light to dark shows how it represents towards real flowers how they have more than one color and how flowers come in different size and or have different textures.
